Longa Lichtenvoorde is a well-established name in the world of volleyball. For years, the ladies’ team has been a top performer, and for the last three years has been Dutch champion.
The top player is the heavily capped Elles Leferink, who was voted best female volleyball player of the season 2004/2005. Alongside the Dutch players, the team includes two Germans and one American player. The team has participated in the European Top Teams Cup.
