Running for a healthy lifestyle

The Ortho Company attaches considerable importance to supporting a healthy lifestyle. Naturally, sport is an essential component of that lifestyle. However, support from The Ortho Company is not restricted to elite sportsmen and women like top tennis player Sjeng Schalken and long-distance swimmer Edith van Dijk. The Ortho Company supports sportsmen and women at every level, from promising young talent right through to veterans, for example the Performax Running Team made up mainly of runners in the over-40 category. This age group was deliberately chosen, as a category of people who are very conscious about their health and who have chosen road running as their sport. Beyond the numerous individual races in which these athletes participate, the team also takes part in a number of group races, of course including the Seven Hills Run, sponsored by The Ortho Company.
